First full day in the Delta. Lots of agriculture. Maybe cotton still in boll. Boring flatland with dirt and no crops fields if not. Note: roads in this area are often around fields and even if it says Ana’s Bottom on the map, it is not a road. Pay attention to directions.
Drive enough of the Blues Highway to say you did. Understand that the Blues Highway is called a highway for a reason.
Helena – West Helena, Arkansas. The bridge is one of the only two crossings of the Mississippi River to Arkansas. See Biscuit Time at broadcast. Pick up Delta Dirt. Visit Delta Cultural Museum in depot. Put it in neutral in roll up Gravity Hill.

Drive around Moon Lake. It is very pretty and should be seen at sundown, but we are Ghosts and we do not drive at sundown.
Examine the Devil’s Crossroads. If you do not know what this is, look it up.
Shop in Clarksdale. Shop a lot. Enjoy the weirdness. Navigate your way around Shack Up Inn, “The Peabody we ain’t”. Group supper and blues music at Hopson Commissary on site.
